Sewing Club Classes
Want to learn to sew or build on your sewing skills?
Come and join one of our small, friendly sewing classes in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
Classes are led by Kate Crossley, a qualified teacher with many years of sewing experience.
Groups are kept small, no more than six students, so everyone gets individual attention and can work at their own pace.
Machines are provided, along with most materials, and tea and coffee are freely available.
We also offer one on one sessions. please fill in the registration form or call to discuss your requirements.
Beginner Sewing Classes
This class is perfect for the complete beginner, the totally
terrified, or anyone returning to sewing after a long break.
We’ll start with the basics: threading the machine, filling
and inserting the bobbin correctly, cutting fabric, mastering
simple machine stitches, and fitting basic zips.
Everyone will complete and take home two or three projects,
chosen from: bags, book covers, cushions, bucket hats,
or aprons.
Machines and materials supplied.
4 half‑day sessions over three weeks — £120

May 13th, 20th, 27th, June 3rd — 10am–1pm
June 17th, 24th, July 1st, 8th — 10am–1pm
